Engadin is a wonderful area in Switzerland that nobody should miss. A horse-drawn carriage tour is a wonderful opportunity to discover Engadin beautiful nature. With our heavy horses you can find us on the streets of Pontresina and offer carriage and sleigh tours. On our family-run farm in Pontresina our horses live in a herd and are employed for riding as well as for the carriage tours.
Horse-drawn omnibus
During the high season we drive our public horse-drawn omnibus everyday according to its timetable in and out of the Val Roseg. At the end of the valley, in a wonderful position, you will find the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Gletscher, a good chance to stop and regain strength at the legendary dessert buffet. From here you can take one of the many hiking trails that runs through the stunning landscape created by the glacier.
We offer one way and round trips. Our carriages are very popular during the high season, so make sure to book your ride since the spots are limited. Of course you can also pop up at our wooden cabin at the beginning of the road leading to the Val Roseg or at the Roseg Gletscher restaurant and see if there are still free spots.

Private rides
For those who don't want to share the carriage but with their group, we offer private rides either with the carriage or in winter, when possible, with the sleigh. Cosy and undisturbed, you will spend the time with your dear ones while our powerful heavy horses take you through the Engadin landscape.
We drive in every season, night and day, and we have the right ride for any occasion. Either into the wild and romantic Val Roseg, to the unique Lake Staz or a self-planned round trip, with us almost everything is possible.
Group rides
For any kind of event we are glad to organize a tailor-made carriage ride. For birthday parties, association trips, marriages, company trips or tour operators we can create the right carriage ride. According to your needs and desire we can make Apéro-rides or Coffee-and-cake-rides. Just pick a destination among the many alternatives we offer: Val Roseg, Staz Lake, the Meierei Restaurant or a nice round trip in the Engadin mountain landscape.
Wohli
Werner Wohlwend, aka Wohli, is a professional electrician, runs the carriage company and has a lot of responsibilities. You can always find him at work somewhere at the farm: on a machine cleaning or feeding the horses, repairing a machine, checking the leaving carriages before they start or shoeing horses. If not at the farm, he could be on his six-horse-drawn carriage on the way in the Val Roseg, closely followed by his dog Juma. In summer he will probably be haying.

The meeting point for our carriage tours is about one minute on foot from Pontresina train station towards the village centre. You will find it next to the Valentin wine shop and in front of the Station Hotel and Restaurant at the entry of Val Roseg.
Our farm Suot Spuondas, where our horses live, is just under Pontresina train station not far from the youth hostel. Nearby the hostel and the train station there are many public parking places.
